Holidays at an agritourism with a pool in Tuscany

The Villa Vignamaggio estate always enchants its guests with its panoramic pool overlooking the countryside of the Chianti region!

The property actually boasts two swimming pools, one of which enjoys breath-taking views of the countryside and across the typical rolling Tuscan hills.

This is a perfect location in which relax, enjoy a swim and have fun with family and friends but it is also an ideal setting in which to host an event, a party or a celebration with unique appeal.

The Villa’s infinity pool is ideal for both adults and children alike.  However, the latter must be accompanied by an adult at all times when using the pool.

The outdoor pool which is available for guests to use throughout the warmer months of the year is perfect for a refreshing dip with friends and family whilst simultaneously enjoying unparalleled views of the glorious countryside that surrounds the Villa’s grounds.

At the Villa Vignamaggio you can experience an agritourism holiday with a pool in the heart of Tuscany, just a few minutes from the main routes to Florence and Siena.

You will be free to relax and enjoy the pool and also the terrace with sun beds, sun umbrellas and towels that are provided by the Villa.

As you lie back and relax, you will be surrounded by the beauty of the Villa’s garden with the colours and sounds of Mother Nature enveloping you in her peaceful embrace.

Once you are inside the grounds of the Villa in what is effectively a large estate, you will find another pool which is located in the middle of a large green lawn.  This is also freely available for the use of our guests.  A pool always means games, fun and relaxation but can also be the setting for a special event as well.

This is because it is also possible to organise a lunch or dinner, a buffet or cocktail party, a banquet or reception, in the area surrounding the pool.  And this magical setting will undoubtedly add an even greater appeal to whatever kind of function you have in mind.

Making pasta with the organic grain from the estate, we began to discover just how much is possible with a steaming plate of penne. What we like most about this pasta is exactly this, its simplicity, how easy it is to prepare, and the exquisite potential to be found in a food so seemingly modest. […]

It’s time for spring-cleaning, and at Vignamaggio we begin in the gardens. We perform three simple but essential tasks to make sure our gardens are lush and healthy. Weeding Weeding by hand, rather than using a chemical weed killer, is better for a few different reasons. It keeps us fit, it doesn’t pollute the soil, […]

The etymology of the name Rosemary is rather poetic, meaning SEA MIST, from the Latin ROS MARINUS. The Rosemary plant thrives in coastal areas, where it grows spontaneously and luxuriantly. Rosemary is an aromatic herb that reminds us of home, a corner of the vegetable garden, the aroma of lunch being prepared in the kitchen. […]
