Vinsanto del Chianti Classico D.O.C.
Grapes: Trebbiano toscano, Malvasia del Chianti
Organoleptic Features: Color: gold yellow, tending towards amber. Bouquet: intense, persistent, ethereal, with hints of almonds, dried fruit and roses. Taste: sweet, warm, intense, persistent.
Ready for consumption: Four and half years after harvest.
Harvesting period: End of September
Vinification: The grapes are placed in crates and left to dry naturally until December. They are then softly pressed and fermented off skins in 75 - 100 liter oak kegs.
Aging: The wine is aged in kegs for four years and a half followed by at least four months of bottle aging.
Ideal serving temperature: 59 °F
Bottle 0.375 L.
