EXTRAVIRGIN OLIVE OIL

Vignamaggio’s oil is produced from the traditional Chianti olive varieties Frantoio, Moraiolo, Leccino and Pendolino. The olives, handpicked in November and December, are pressed by continuous cycle system within 24 hours of harvesting.
An annual qualitative chemical and organoleptic analysis ascertains high polyphenol, tocopherol and oleic acid content.
Polyphenols are natural antioxidants, the compounds responsible for the product’s long shelf life. They are also an important part of the human diet, providing a defense against the production of free radicals.
Tocopherols are vitamin E containing compounds necessary for increasing the antioxidant potential in human cells, which delays ageing. Their role in cardiac disease prevention, immune system support and skin health is well documented.

MIGNONS

Our mignon Tartufo looks like bonbonniere and encase the flavours of Tuscany: the fruitiness of the olive blending with the intensity of truffle, releasing their own characteristic notes.
Vignamaggio’s truffle oil is a completely natural product, containing no synthetic flavourings. It relies solely on direct contact with the truffle, giving it an intense and characteristic aroma.

PRIME GOCCE

Prime Gocce is the oil from the first pressing at the beginning of November. This oil is characterised by an intense green colour, a distinctly fruity fragrance with notes of fresh olives and a bold and fruity flavor.
Available in glass bottles of 250 and 500 ml.

D.O.P del CHIANTI CLASSICO

Part of the oil produced boasts Protected Designation of Origin (D.O.P.) certification, a further guarantee of the origin and quality of the product.

The Frantoio is a classic Chianti olive varietal that produces an oil characterised by a fruity olive fragrance, which is picante and intense. Ideally suited to those looking for a sharp and heady flavour.

EVO

Vignamaggio’s oil is characterized by low acidity (0,2%), a green colour and an intensely fruity and lingering fragrance. Vignamaggio’s olive oil is sold in 200 ml to 5 litre metal cans or in 500 ml transparent glass bottle.

CONDIMENTS

Vignamaggio’s flavoured oils are made by directly infusing herbs into our extra virgin olive oil, using no chemical flavourings.
In fact, we harvest the chilli, sage, garlic, thyme and rosemary straight from the pomario, our organic vegetable garden adjacent to the villa’s renaissance garden.
The three condiments that we have created for you are Salvia & Rosmarino, Aglio & Timo e Peperoncino, sold in 100 ml bottle trio sets.
